You have a choice between throwing hectoliters of sweat at the gym and a soft couch, a bag of chips, and a remote control.
What will you choose?
If you say you're choosing the gym, will you choose it just because you know you "should" or do you actually want it?
Of course, our brain and body tell us to choose the second one, to rest, to save energy because we don’t know what will happen in an hour, a day, or a week.
We are programmed this way, and laziness is in our DNA. It is thanks to laziness that we, as humanity, move forward.
Someone didn't like walking, so a bicycle was created. Someone thought, "I don't want to travel that long," and created an airplane.
Every invention you use every day, every gadget, was created with the idea of doing less, of spending as little time and energy on a given activity as possible.
SWEET LAZINESS IN THE ERA OF HUSTLE CULTURE
I know that in this era of hustle culture, what you read seems ridiculous, but think about it for a moment.
The best ideas, concepts, and solutions are created in our heads when we are most relaxed. When you are resting, when you are lazy, when you lie in the grass and watch the sky, when you stare at the lake when you lie on the roof and watch the stars, in the shower...
When we are relaxed, we can reflect, and then the brain begins to receive signals on different wavelengths and create images, and words…
Your Full Potential is a book thanks to which you will learn why rest is more important than work when stress is our ally, why single-tasking is better than multitasking, how smartphones reduce our effectiveness, when, how, and how much time to study or work to achieve the desired results. effects.

21st CENTURY PRESSURE
We are the ones who torture ourselves, we are the ones who put the greatest pressure on ourselves and demand something that is often beyond our strength.
Not society, not family, not neighbor or best friend. You are your own greatest pressure creator.
Of course, doing things that are difficult, demanding, going beyond, reaching beyond... all this is important because only in such moments is growth and development possible, but it is worth getting rid of remorse.
I'll eat a donut, but then I'll do a workout twice as long, today I'll be slacking off all day, but in return, I'll stay up all night because I have a project I need to finish, I didn't do the workout today,
I'm a slacker and a loser, I gave up, I gave up, so I'm a loser.
It is in such moments, of constant rushing, pressure, and endless high turnover, that burnout, anxiety, and depression appear…
Our bodies are not made for this, I know because I was there at the same moment. Everyday hard training, working full-time, creative work, shopping, cooking, studying every day, endless tasks, ticking boxes, tasks not completed were synonymous with failure. At such moments, the body and head give signals.
There are problems with falling asleep, hair falling out, nervousness, and outbursts of anger due to even the biggest bullshit. The complexion looks worse, and pimples appear. You notice that your body, instead of gaining an athletic figure because you train like an ox every day, looks worse.
This happens because your brain gives a clear signal to your body, you are being chased by a wild animal every day... that's why you are constantly in a state of stress, tension because your body knows that tomorrow and every day after that, you will be chased by this fucking animal.
In the moments when you let go, rest, and regenerate, the body and head know that, ok, now we are doing things, acting, training, but in the future, there will be regeneration and everything is fine. Hormones are normal, we can stay calm because after finishing work there will be a state of relief and relaxation.
Set boundaries, don't feel guilty, relax, be lazy, breathe, catch some rays of sunshine, plan a vacation, and have fun... there's nothing wrong with it and it's our nature.
Work like a maniac and rest like a king…
