\"I DON'T HAVE TIME\" - HOW TO FIND TIME

"I don't have time" or "I don't want to" - these are the most common excuses we say and hear from someone. Why? Let's find time.

When did you read the book? Or when did you do the training? When have you done something for yourself or a loved one? When did you cook dinner from scratch? And don't joke that there's no time for that!

I will prove to you in this post that you have had enough of it. You only need to do one small thing, the answer is simple.

Find Time - that is what we want the most

Time is running out, it passes inexorably, the concept of time is relative, time heals all wounds, I have no time for anything...

As something that cannot be seen, it is extremely valuable. After all, the only thing we need and always lack is not money, but time.

If only we could turn back time. We just started the new year and the first half will be over in a moment. Where has all this time gone and what do we do with it?

TIME FLIES - FIND TIME

You get up, drink coffee, then work, have dinner, shopping, sit down for 5 minutes and before you know it, it's bedtime - sounds familiar?

Routine, monotony, the prose of life - all this makes you practically go on autopilot, like a hamster in a wheel. Each subsequent day seems to be similar to the previous one, and so weeks, months, and years pass.

It's time to think about what you spend your time on and perhaps what needs to be changed so that life doesn't slip through your fingers.

For visualization, it presents you with a life calendar that shows how far you are behind you, one of the best solutions to avoid stagnation.

WE HAVE WATCHES THEY HAVE TIME

I think that the topic of time, and more specifically the lack of it, appears much more often with age. For me, when I was a child, two-month holidays seemed to last forever. And the 20km bus journey was like a trip across the ocean. Today, the next holidays are merging, and sometimes I have to wonder what year it is 🙂

When my parents, working shifts, having 3 children, without a nanny or help, had a plot of land, a whole cellar of preserves, and built a house. They always had time for us, homemade dinner was always served, and the smell of homemade cake wafted around the house every two days.

Being currently in Bali and watching the local people, I am thinking hard about a certain sentence: "We Europeans have watched, and you have time in Bali." It is a strong statement, but extremely true.

HOW TO FIND MORE TIME

For me, the initial way to buy time is definitely to break the monotony.

Try not to follow a familiar scenario and break out of the routine. Get up early, do something spontaneous, surprise your partner, do something funny.

Another way and attention will be a dope that will shake your world, the attention you can already write thanks ...

DIGITAL DETOX

23 YEARS ONLINE

Did you know that the average time spent by one person online during the day is 6h58 according to the DIGITAL 2022 REPORT

The entire report is presented here:

With an average life expectancy of 78 years, that makes 23 years. This means that you spend ⅓ of your life online devoting your time to crap.

Teenagers spend about 5 hours a day with a smartphone in their hand, and on days off from school, this time is mercilessly longer.

We waste most of our time browsing mostly unnecessary information on social media because of FOMO. Then there are platforms such as Netflix, Youtube, and Spotify.

Therefore, it is not surprising that people cannot imagine life without the Internet.

I HAVE NO TIME - CHALLENGE

My parents didn't have smartphones, even a computer came to our house when I was 8 years old. There were only 3 programs on TV, a fairy tale for children in the evening before bed.

There was plenty of time and more.

I encourage you to do a little challenge and experiment. Switch off, uninstall, disconnect, and stay strong. Get off the internet for at least one day. I'll do it myself with you. Start with one day, then test if you can handle the weekend.

TIME TO BE OFFLINE

1. Resolve to find time each day to be completely offline and fully here and now.

If you are a hyper-organized person, you can put this as one of the items on your calendar, of course, make it the most important one. Never vice versa. It's a good idea to set your offline time at the same time every day, e.g. after lunch.

For starters, you can allocate up to 30 minutes. But remember - don't cheat. Turn off your laptop, cell phone, TV, tablet, and anything else that might disturb you. Or at least take it to another room. As time passes, try to stay offline as long as possible. Over time, you can try putting an entire day offline once a month or even once a week.

2. Do your best to remember it.

As I said before, you can put this kind of information in the calendar. You can jot it down in notes on your desktop, stick a note on the fridge, or just set a reminder on your phone.

3. Make the most of offline time.

Make it as positive as possible. It's a good idea to do something completely different. If you have been sitting at the computer for the last few hours - go for a walk, do some exercise, drink tea, or bake a cake.

4. Do everything so that this time is not wasted time.

That is not a break you take only out of compulsion or a sense of duty. Use this offline time as efficiently as possible. Before the age of the internet, people could find all sorts of creative activities and, believe it or not, they weren't bored at all. Perhaps you have a pile of books waiting their turn. Or have you always wanted to learn to knit? Or maybe you always lack time to assemble models or "pick" the car? We don't realize how quickly the time spent in front of the computer passes. Experiment and see for yourself how much you can do in the time you steal from the internet.

5. Try to share the idea.

Spread being offline to your family or close circle of friends. You can allocate time together that you decide to spend offline. Perhaps thanks to this you will be able to meet for coffee? In addition, try to infect your colleagues with this idea. Instead of eating a second breakfast sitting face to face with a computer and reading posts on social media, take a break together. Have a cup of tea, and talk (not necessarily about work;). Note that disconnecting from all kinds of distractions will help you form new and deeper bonds, and you will learn to give 100 percent of your attention to the person you spend time with. You will understand what it means to spend time together, not just meet.

What can you lose during such time offline? Nothing. News, emails, blog posts, friends' Facebook posts, celebrity gossip, it's all waiting and catching up if you really can't imagine life without it. You can gain a lot from this. A wonderful time spent with family, friends, or even yourself. Hours spent and often wasted on the web may be entertainment for someone, but they certainly will not replace the time spent with loved ones or friends, or devoted to developing our hobby.
