WHAT DOES HSP MEAN?
HSP - highly sensitive people, because we will talk about them today, constitute 15-20% of the population. Does the fact that you are not HSP mean you are not sensitive - NO.
HSP people have above-average sensitivity. They experience more, perceive more, are exposed to overstimulation, often misunderstood. A highly sensitive person is often mistaken for an introvert or a neurotic. So now let's make it more clear, high sensitivity - advantages and disadvantages.
It is extremely important that from an early age, sensitivity is noticed by the caregivers and the environment, and that such a highly sensitive child is understood and directed in the right direction.
When an HSP person receives support from an early age, he will spread his wings and often hidden talent. In the worst case, the effects of misunderstanding and not recognizing high sensitivity can be difficulties in interacting with peers, problems with stress, and complete undermining of self-confidence.
An HSP person experiences stress more strongly, intercepts the moods of people around him, and analyzes and perceives details not noticed by others.
This person often tries to adjust to the environment, puts the good of others above his own, and does not want to be misunderstood at all costs, which can lead to frustration and surrounding himself with people with whom he has nothing to do.
Sensitive people, have a rich imagination and are sensitive to beauty, taste, smell, and sounds.
HSP can react strongly to pain, hunger, scenes of violence, and life changes.
A highly sensitive person will try with all his strength to avoid stressful situations and, in return, seek peace, silence, and balance. HSP is characterized by a rich inner life, looks for answers, and reflects on the meaning of life. Overstimulating and stimulating such a person can risk an unexpected outburst.
Quiet, calm, but often eye-catching. Conscientious, talented, and empathetic… are some of the features of HSP.

An HSP person feels more intensely and processes the stimuli coming from the environment and from the inside himself more intensely.
Emotional sensitivity is innate and genetically determined.
A sensitive person analyzes longer before making a decision, and because he experiences harder, he becomes satiated faster and experiences emotional fatigue faster.
HSP people see details more easily in both the material and social world.
It is not easy for a person with high sensitivity these days. In times when you need to be stress-resistant, go ahead, and make decisions quickly.
An HSP person is often distracted by the slightest sound, such people strive for perfection and struggle with difficulty. HSP needs more time to get used to the new one, no matter if it's good or bad.
Erroneously assigned terms such as complex, withdrawn, and shy - do not improve the situation. A highly sensitive person takes much longer to trust, but once they let the other person into their circle, they are a great friend. This person is understanding, trustworthy, supportive, and empathetic.

HSP - HOW TO TAMILIZE SENSITIVITY
At the moment, do I still identify with all 20 points? - NO.
There is a long way behind me and ahead of me.
Every day I tame my sensitivity, I adapt it to my life.
I have to take care of my mental health and avoid stressful situations as much as possible. But I can see tremendous improvement and I can say that I am proud of myself.
Believe that I have found my space. I am not afraid of people as I used to be. I can put my way and present my point of view. There is no need to adjust, and I simply pushed people who do not bring anything positive to my life aside.
I am still irritated by the little things, but I try to work on them. I am still emotional, I think about my life, but it seems to be a plus. High sensitivity is not a curse, but it's important to spot it early and work on yourself.
Unfortunately, I was not so lucky. But in my adult life, I face my weaknesses and everything is going in the right direction.
Be sure to write if such people are among you. Maybe you are HSP alone. Maybe you feel misunderstood and you are looking for support ... know that you are not alone.
